What would it feel if I can wake up everyday forgetting what happened for the last whole year?

Lucy in the movie “50 First Dates” told me this feeling. Every morning when she woke up, she only rememberred the Sunday of last year which was her father’s birthday, also the date she had the car accident which made her only keep memory before Sunday, so she always felt happy living the same habit as what she did on Sunday a year ago with the kind set-up by her father and brother. After meeting Henry, she could only remember who he was on the same day. But after one night, he became a stranger to her. She couldn’t even recognize he was the one she used to date and love everyday. Henry tried his best to give her a new different meeting every day so as to win her smile and regain their “First Date”。 Henry made her tapes every morning to help her remember what happened the day before and the last whole year. Lucy thus felt grateful with all she had when she woke up everyday. On the same day, she always had the same deep gratitude to face Henry with her sweet smile.

What a beautiful feeling it is to always feel thanksgiving and to always appreciate each other’s effort. A touching story between a memory lost woman and a devoted man taught all of us, normal people, the essence of love. When two people can thank each other for their devotion everyday like what they did for each other on first date, love can forever be refreshed and energetic. On Lucy’s side, people with memory will ask for more than yesterday and become critical of their partners day by day, while people without memory will feel grateful for their life and the people around them everyday.

In the movie, when one day Lucy decided to break up with Henry to let him rebuild his life by burning all their diaries and tapes, I cried for Henry’s broken heart. For her, it was just one day feeling. For him, it was long-term affection and connection. It was easier for her than him to give up their love. On Henry’s side, people with memory will always remember the past happiness and treasure it for the rest of their life, while people without memory will easily give up at the end of the same day.

What a ruthless feeling it is to end a relationship just after one minute thought. People with fragile mind would easily ruin a long-term relationship no matter what reason they have. The torture between Lucy and Henry tells us the fatal factor to do harm to intimacy between a couple is their fragile mind of balancing emotion and reason. Thus most of couple lose their trust for each other after experiencing this weakly testing broke-up.

Mr. A Gan has his own perseverance, keeping on running without of any reason, JUST RUNS.

He said: “Man has t look forward, and never encumbered by foretime. I thank that's themeaning of my running.” Say goodbye to foretime and don't stay in-place. Although so manypeople in the world are used to follow others and few people can stick to one thing,Mr. A Gan does and becomes “GOD”. There is another character Captain Dan. Dan lost hislegs in Vietnarm War. He said that his fate is death in war. However, Mr. A Gan saved himand let him be alive. After losing legs, Dan was decadent and disgusted with life, complaining that A Gan shouldn't save him. When he adjusted his mind, living on fishingwith A Gan, he started to enjoy the wonderful life and thank A Gan's help. The movie isintended to tell people that life is wonderful by this character. Rainbow is alwaysafter cloud. The key point is that whether we have a good mind and an opportunity toourselves to change bad situation. The movie is also sent such a message to us: dowell what we should do, and life will return us well. There will be a miracle ifonly there is perseverance.

Somewhere, under the sea, weak-finned clown fish Nemo (Alexander Gould) lives with his fretful father, Marlin (Albert Brooks). Smothered by pop's paranoia, he ventures away from the reef, but his dad's dread is justified when a passing diver whisks him away.

Taken to a tank in a Sydney dentists, Nemo meets Gill (Willem Dafoe) and co - friendly fish who dream of escaping to the ocean. Meanwhile, Marlin bumps into a blue tang named Dory (Ellen DeGeneres), and sets out to save his son...

The splendour of natural history hit The Blue Planet is matched by the wit of the script and stars. Barry Humphries has a terrific cameo as a great white shark who's sworn off killing (Remember, fish are friends, not food!), while DeGeneres provides perfect timing and tone as Dory, whose short-term memory loss is a gag that never stops running

After the appreciation of the film “Titanic”, I have noticed some meaningful details behind the peoples’ general impression of simply an affectional film. The wreck of the Titanic occurred in 1912, in which the great recession started from the end of the 19th Century still hasn’t ended. Most critics pointed out that the sinking of the Titanic represents the collapse of the Capitalism in the end of the 19th Century. However, I would like to say that, in this movie, the director had not only foreran the crisis of the Capitalism, but also showed some of the human nature, from both gloomy and brilliant aspects, like selfish, mammonish, vainglorious, and love, hope, bravery, faith, and so on. In this essay, I will first reveal this film’s indication of the social context of that age, then I will analyse the two contrary aspects of human nature indicated in this film through some impressive shots.

Under the development of industrial technology, the economy in the Capitalism countries took off. People lived a rich, luxury and expensive life, and this rapid economic development lasted for almost 20 years. People had got used to this kind of life. The huge development in machinery changed people’s life greatly. Innovations of transportation, such as vehicles and tankers, allowed people to travel around. The appearance of these modern transportations was an important milestone of the industrialization. People thus became very confident on human intellectual capabilities. They believed their power of conquering the nature is inapproachable. While the Titanic is also called “The Ship of Dreamers”, in this film, when it bearing in with the ocean in the darkness, the mysterious ocean represents the unknown nature and the ship itself represents the advanced material capabilities people owned. In a shot that Mr Bruce explains his design of the Titanic, he said “the ship possesses huge size, stability, luxury, and strength”, and that” the supremacy will never be challenged”. In fact, all these words can be thought of the symbols of the Capitalism of that time in many people’s eyes. They thought the Capitalism is just like the Titanic, which should be “unsinkable”. The wonderful way of developing economy would stay in good condition eternally. However, things do not always follow the way people wish to be. The economic recession suddenly attacked the Capitalism countries at the end of the 19th Century. It was not until then that people did not realize the impracticality of their idealized “unsinkable” Capitalism. Capitalism will sink. And unfortunately it did sink. Just like the movie shows, when the ship broke into two parts and began to sink quicker and quicker, everybody knows the ship is going to sink, the priest kept reiterating to the disciples,” the former would has passed away.”

As to the human nature uncovered in this film, can be thought of from both negative and positive aspects. I will first elucidate some gloomy characteristics revealed by the film. The first impressive characteristic may be that the fiancé of Rose, Karl would gain his ends by fair means or foul. When he noticed that Rose has obliquity with Jack, he took out the necklace with a diamond of 56 carats named “the heart of the ocean”, to request Rose not to leave him. He knows that Rose doesn’t love him, but he chose to use money to keep Rose with him. When Titanic was sinking, both Jack and Karl were trying to trick Rose into getting on the accident boat. Since Karl had already bribed a sailor, he lied to Rose that he would ensure that Jack will also get on the boat. Nevertheless, when Karl himself was rejected to get on the accident boat, he again used an intrigue that he picked up an outcast child and pretended to be the father of the child, and managed to get on the accident boat. Another negative social mood of that time exposed by the film is vanity. Rose’s mother wanted to marry her daughter to Karl just because Karl is extremely rich, while she doesn’t care whether Rose loves him or not. When Jack wearing a suit borrowed from a woman to attend the dinner invited by Karl, he was respected by other guests. However, when he wore his own clothes maybe a little bit shabby, and tried to enter the ballroom to look for Rose, he was driven out by the two guards outside the ballroom. The two respondences depending on Jack’s appearance contrasted sharply, and really very shocking for us to imagine a society like that. Anyway, there are some brilliant aspects of human nature showed in this film. There is love, bravery, faith, and beliefs existing at the scene. The presence of love was impenetrated through the whole film. The love is not only expressed between Jack and Rose, but also exists among the families. When the water was poured into the ship, when men are forced to be obstructed from their wives and children, an old couple held each other tightly in the bed; a father comforted his daughter he will just leave her for a while, just a little while… When Titanic was sinking, some musicians were performing pieces of music, some disciples were praying to Virgin Mary around the priest on their knees…

In conclusion, the film of “Titanic” is not simply an affectional story between Jack and Rose. It shows more than love. The wreck of Titanic represents the collapse of the Capitalism, which is considered “unsinkable” by most people. The film also shows different aspects of human nature. Some people own strong vainglory, while some other possess much of love; still others are rich in firm faith and beliefs. We should always keep in mind that, no matter how enormous the calamity is, no matter how defective the people are, we should believe there are always more virtue than vice in the world…

The Olympic Games, which originated in ancient Greece, is the most distinguished sporting event in the world. Once every four years, the utmost athletes from all around are lured to gather together and spare no efforts to compete against each other and try to win a medal for the country that they represent. Frankly speaking, that was virtually all I knew about the world-famous Olympic Games before I had read a book entitled The Olympics published by Foreign Language Teaching and Research Press. However, I found even more philosophy beyond just winning medals from reading the book, which was beyond my imagination and considerably inspiring.

Someone once said, “Were everybody on earth involved in some kind of sport, our world would be free of war for long.” Starting from three thousand years ago, the ancient Olympic Games has long been an event not only for competition but also for peace. In ancient times, no war was allowed between the cities during the Games, which was rather surprising to me since I could hardly imagine warriors actally putting down their weapons and give a break for peace. The precious tradition of peace continued: I would never fail to recall the scene of the opening ceremonies when North and South Korean athletes entering the stadium with their hands held together. The two neighboring countries that used to be enemies are no longer enemies during the Games. Instead they became friends. Speaking of the XX Athens Olympics, perhaps most people would have the same opinion that the most noable part of the opening ceremony arrived when Iraqi and Afghan representatives showed up. These two unfortunate nations, the people of which have undergone innumerable wars, are coming back again to take their own responsibility in world sports after recent invasions by America. The fearless people of Iraq and Afghanistan are once more sharing the spirit of the Games with people from the rest of the world.

There is another story in this book that makes me deep in thoughts. There is no doubt that the most unusual Olympic Games ever in history is the 1936 Olympics held in Germany, which was then ruled by the Nazi Party. Led by Adolf Hitler, the Nazi believed that the so-called Aryan people were superior to all others in all aspects. They looked down upon Jews and blacks, the latter of which was a major constitution of the United States Olympic team. Despite the barrier that faced him, the African American Jesse Owens, who was a most outstanding runner and jumper, did all that he could and finally won gold medals for his country and went home a hero. This reveals another fact that no power on earth is able to hinder the sacred Olympic Games. For all participants, no matter what their gender, race, nationalities and backgrounds are, equality is distributed among every one who observes the Game’s rules.

At the XX Athens Olympics, our Chinese team did extraordinarily well. We ranked second on the medal lists for the first time in history. In my opinion, however, we should not only concentrate on the figure of medals; instead the strength and perseverance of those who failed to get any medals ought to be highly cherished. Whether ever success or failure, whether ever cheer or tear, whether ever medal or not, the never-gave-up spirits of athletes are always motivating us. I believe in the year 2008, the world will focus all their attention to Beijing, China, where the glory of the Games will continue to thrive forever!

Watch the I thought everybody can be the first as long as make great efforts

The movie Kung Fu Panda looks like a kung-fu novel, in accordance with Chinese-style plot development. It is mainly about a fat panda's dream to become a master of kung fu, and a coincidental let that dream become a reality. Of course, Po (the panda) has gone through a series of twists and turns before reaching success.

Impressed me most is a series of Chinese elements in the film, from the name we can know it is the film for Chinese - kung fu and panda. It is not just kung fu and panda. There are other Chinese elements in it. Such as the Chinese mandarin, the Chinese house, acupuncture, erhu, calligraphy and so on.

Of course, that it can become North America's box office leader and could attract foreigners are not only those causes. In this film, everywhere is full of philosophical dialogues. The turtle said “There are no accidents.” Po's father, described in the mysterious soup, said “To make something special, you just have to believe it's special.” That I like the most is “Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, but today is a gift. That is why it's called the present.” It tells us to make good use of today.

2008 is a Chinese year, Kung Fu Panda also allow international friends to learn more about Chinese culture and connotation.

Yesterday, I went to see the movie that named Twilight. It is a very cool. Stephanie Meyer that author writes four books, then filmed. The first book is Twilight.I am very glad to watch it.

From the movie I recognize love is no limited. Our life alway have different kinds of people ,but that is not a vampire. They includ the beatiful girls ,clever boys and kind-hearted all.At the same time Twilight also deliver dangerous and dark aroud us.

On the other hand ,the movie give me a good rest during my weekday. As a whole we focus next movie attention on New Moon.Every one can love it in your heart.

I think you can do it by youself with a wet finger. A za.gays.

I think the stars and supporting cast did a really great job. Bella’s friends were engaging, funny and they played their roles very naturally. Billy Burke was low key and excellecntly potrayed Bella’s father. Kristen Stewart did a decent job, and I have to say that despite his severely sculpted eyebrows, I liked Rob Pattinson ’s portrayal of Edward Cullen. There were quite a few moments of unexpected humor in the film that I enjoyed. Nothing huge just little things that were enough to actually make me laugh out loud (which some comedies this year didn’t manage to make me do)。() However, for a non-fan, it was really a pretty bland film. It seemed very slow-moving at times, and let’s face it ? it’s a pretty cheesy teen romance movie. There wasn’t anything really special here other than the fact that it had vampires.

I think Edward really loves Bella, he is a vampire, but he can for his own love for his beloved vampire who control their own nature, like people, like the desire of human nature, really hard to come by, he can To make Bella happy to give her. These I can do, the only difference is that I love is not on my side, do not tell me she loved me and waiting for me. I like that part, Bella wants to become a vampire, but Edward and so five years in decline, Bella said not that long, Edward said that three years, I envy them! I also love people so I hope she can wait for me for four years. I am not opposed to Bella in Edward's time, can not afford them and find themselves to Jacob, so Jacob fell in love with her unable to extricate themselves. Sometimes think she is really selfish, she has hurt the hearts of two people, some live up to Edward, Jacob hate to hurt her in front of the Edward kissed Jacob. Although in reality a very bad man say, but men will prove just love a woman forever, but a woman may love a few men.

The movie was totally funny and the graphics was superb. Especially, Sid the Sloth was the funniest of all and his voice was also funny. My favorite characters were Diego and Soto because of their Saber tooth and they were so superb in the movie. Manny and Scrat were also funny. All the Scrat scenes were so funny.

The last scene was also cool. The baby was very cute and that is also favorite character. When Sid says to Manny that I can take care of the baby, that scene was also funny. Even, the Rhinos were superb. The Voice of Soto and Diego, was superb and it was a harsh voice given by the people. The melon scene and the sliding scene were funny. I should Really appreciate the creators of “Ice Age”.

Parents and children, inspirational, so the words used in qualitative, on the drama is on the excess; effort, struggle, happiness, and this proceis actually on the drama in excess. Art

comes from life than life; a successful television series might not require a highly anticipated new theme and return to life, perhaps the most real life is the highest art. Bottom line of this struggle in poverty in the inspirational family film more approachable, but also much more likely to live many of our emotional resonance.

Waiting is life original old

WuShiXian movie alone waiting “and won a prize, saw the summer rain and LiBingBing collision, this is exciting. Movie describing the life is from Beijing, is also the contemporary young people, boring, fantasy, loss, decadent. But no one can live without struggle, struggle in life in the rules, struggling in secular comments in controversy, alone and waited.

The film is in my opinion is not simple love can be summarized, that kind of narrative real let me more reflections is struggling, loneliness, stray, disguise, vanity and simple, persistence, kind these more real and perceptual things. This is the movie charm, let us find their shadows, reviewing myself, then coat-of-arms back to life. At the same time in the lonely and helpless, waiting, waiting for the love, dream, the beautiful utopia.

Or the dream factory has always been the high standard, the screen exquisite detail, vivid characters vivid, touching story twists and turns, the most important thing is it in the most simple and easy to understand that the way of a token, that is - there is no shortcut to the world and Cheats, the only winning Famen is believe in themselves.

This film was absolutely amazing. I have spent hours re-watching various scenes and noticing all the perfection with which they are acted and directed. It's not the violence or action sequences that make this movie so great (although they are well done...), but rather moments like where Mathilda knocks on Leon's door. It would be so easy to just film the door opening, but instead we see light illuminating Natalie Portman's face, symbolizing something angelic. And the moment has so much more meaning.

I know a lot of people who have seen this film because they are action fans. I'm not. But I'm glad I finally found it, because it's a wonderful film in so many other ways.

So terrfic, this film make me loving Kung Fu!

My liitle sister love the panda very much ,She ask me which kind annimal of Panda?

You can see how things goes on with laugh,

I recommend this film to you.!

<2>

The film stars a panda named Po (voice of Jack Black), who is so fat he can barely get out of bed. He works for his father, Mr. Ping (James Hong) in a noodle shop, which features Ping's legendary Secret Ingredient. How Ping, apparently a stork or other billed member of the avian family, fathered a panda is a mystery, not least to Po, but then the movie is filled with a wide variety of creatures who don't much seem to notice their differences.

They live in the beautiful Valley of Peace with an ancient temple towering overhead, up zillions of steps, which the pudgy Po can barely climb. But climb them he does, dragging a noodle wagon, because all the people of the valley have gathered up there to witness the choosing of the Dragon Warrior, who will engage the dreaded Tai Lung (Ian McShane) in kung-fu combat. Five contenders have been selected, the ”Furious Five“: Monkey (Jackie Chan), Tigress (Angelina Jolie), Mantis (Seth Rogen), Viper (Lucy Liu) and Crane (David Cross). Tigress looks like she might be able to do some serious damage, but the others are less than impressive. Mantis in particular seems to weigh about an ounce, tops. All five have been trained (for nearly forever, I gather) by the wise Shifu, who with Dustin Hoffman's voice is one of the more dimensional characters in a story that doesn't give the others a lot of depth. Anyway, it's up to the temple master Oogway (Randall Duk Kim), an ancient turtle, to make the final selection, and he chooses -- yes, he chooses the hapless and pudgy Po.

The story then becomes essentially a series of action sequences, somewhat undermined by the fact that the combatants seem unable to be hurt, even if they fall from dizzying heights and crack stones open with their heads. There's an extended combat with Tai Lung on a disintegrating suspension bridge (haven't we seen that before?), hand-to-hand-to-tail combat with Po and Tai Lung, and upstaging everything, an energetic competition over a single dumpling.

”Kung Fu Panda“ is not one of the great recent animated films. The story is way too predictable, and truth to tell, Po himself didn't overwhelm me with his charisma. But it's elegantly drawn, the action sequences are packed with energy, and it's short enough that older viewers will be forgiving. For the kids, of course, all this stuff is much of a muchness, and here they go again.

Hotel Rwanda ---- a story of an African Schinderler

Hotel Rwanda is a film about a man. It was based on a real story of a man who saved 1268 people’s lives in a madness genocidal, which happened in Rwanda, 1994. The film was directed by Terry George, 2004. The main actor Don Cheadle is not handsome but just an ordinary man. You probably will even not recognize him when you happen to meet him on the street. He acted a hero based on a true story, a man who was as simple as he is, Paul Rusesabagina. Paul is a hero, a real man, while a hero and a real man doesn’t always need to be handsome or attractive in the appearance. There are two nations in Rwanda, hutu and tutsi. Paul is a hutu manager working for a 4 stars hotel on town. The hutu army planed a genocidal to clear out all the tutsi people in ruwanda. The tutsi people were suffering a madness blood bath. Over 800,000 people had been killed within 100 days. Paul has a tutsi wife, in order to protect his wife, children and other tutsis; he took them to hide in the hotel Rwanda. There are many white people from all over the world lived in this hotel so the hotel is the safest place in Rwanda to hide. There are 80 UN soldiers in Rwanda but only 4 guarded in the hotel and all of them are not allowed to shot. If we say that Paul just wanted to save his wife at the beginning, after recognized that there is no one would come to help the tutsis, Paul throw himself into the breach. He bribed the hutu general by wine and gold, used out every coin of his to purchase the refugees’ lives, ten, a hundred, 2 hundreds, 3 hundreds… more and more tutsi refugees flee to the hotel wishing to survive. To them, Paul is an angel who keeps a hope for those hopeless people in the calamity. His goodness his mercy is the key to be alive.

The hotel Rwanda is a dramatically and war film, ingeniously, there was almost no lens for slaughtering; however, the threatener of death was full filling with the whole movie. One of the tutsi asked Paul,

“Why they are so truculence?”

“ Hatred? Insanity? … I don’t know.”

The event is a humanitarianism disaster and Paul needs no reason to save the lives. When the world closed its eyes, he opened his arms. Facing a madness calamity and crazy crowds, the individual’s power is far from enough. However, Paul saved more than 1000 people’s lives. Paul Rusesabagina is a hero, a real man, an African Schinderler.

This film is based on a true story 。 That happened in Japan in 1935。So I was moved by the spirit of Hachi!

No one has the ability to show his love to only one person during his whole life, let alone make friends with only one person; have the food that never changes year by year; do the same damn thing without plaining and consciousness of exhaustion。 We can’t! However, what we could learn from Hachi is that we should never forget the one we once loved。

In fact , some research and statistics prove that pets are more sensitive in human’s diseases than we do。 Hachi fetched that ball because he knew that his master would die because of his heart disease。 It’s his only way to hold him back 。 Hachi has been waiting in the weeds, waiting for his only fellow to walk him home。 His hope has been floating in the breeze, carrying his loneliness and misery all above the ground。 Maybe professor knows, but he could never e back。

This is a can't-miss family movie。 After all, EVERYONE seems to like inspiring family films--especially when it's based on real people。 And, not surprisingly, I had a thoroughly good time watching it--though I do remend you see it with a box of Kleenex nearby。

The film is about a young man named Michael Oher--an extremely large black teenager who has bounced from home to home in the foster care system。 Currently, he's in a new school and no one realizes that he has no place to live。 Yet in spite of having a crack-addicted mother, a father who was killed in prison and every other reason to be an angry powder keg, he's a very gentle and sad soul---who is also enormous and has amazing potential to play football。

A nosy but very nice lady (Sandra Bullock) convinces her husband (Tim McGraw) to bring Michael home。。。at least for the night。 But this one night turns into a permanent living situation and he bees an important part of the family。 However, despite this new living arrangement working out well, Michael is so far behind in school and his GPA so low that he hasn't a prayer to play football in college。 That's because although many schools are now offering him athletic scholarships, his GPA is too low to allow him to accept these offers。 So, with his new family's help, perhaps he can pull up those grades and have a future。

This film is super-inspirational and sweet--mostly because it's true。 I am sure that some poetic license was taken when making the film (I especially wonder if the little brother could be THIS precocious and adorable), but overall they did a good job of sticking reasonably close the facts。 While I loved Sandra Bullock's performance (she's great as usual), I was a bit surprised that she received Oscar for it--I did see a few performances in other films that year that I thought were a bit better (such as the leading young lady in ”Precious“)。 Also, Tim McGraw, while a lesser role in the film, did a surprisingly good job--especially as he's really known as a country singer, not an actor。 All around, a very good film and one that is meant to inspire。

Despicable Me 2 is a brilliant film with a great storyline and an impressive voice cast.

I definitely wouldnt say it was better than the first Despicable Me,the first one was a lot more heartwarming, but it still is a very good sequel and has everything you want in a family film, humor for both young and older audiences.

However, the story of the movie feels very scattered and throughout I felt like they were trying to fit too much in one hour and a half. I still enjoyed it nevertheless!

This summer holiday, I watched an interesting American movie named KungFu PandaⅡ.

In the movie, there was a panda and his friends such as a tiger, a monkey and so on .The panda named Polo was so fat that he couldn’t see his own toes when he looked down .But he was very cute and full of fun, so many people like him .He was not an ordinary panda but an hero when appearing in KungFu PandaⅡ.Like many other movies in this kind, there was also a king who was very cruel. Of course, it was Polo and his friends’ mission to kill the bad guy. They made it. There were many problems, of course, when they tried their best to kill the king. And they overcame them by their courageand, above all, their friendship.

As for myself, through the movie, I learned many important things-confidence, courage and friendship. I realize that no one can defeat us so long as we are equipped with these important things.

“Life of Pi” is such an exciting movie that most people enjoy watching it,especially for teenagers. It tells a story where a boy called Pi lives alone with a tiger in a boat in the middle of the ocean. The boy is both smart and brave. He learns to know how to live together with the tiger that may eat him at any moment. However, with so many difficulties, the boy and the tiger successfully reaches the land and saves their lives.

As is shown in the movie, when we are in trouble, not only should we be brave, but also smart. More importantly, we should never give up our hope when faced with hardships. Nothing is impossible if we believe in ourselves. As an old saying goes, ”Where there is a will, there is a way.“

This film was absolutely amazing. I have spent hours re-watching various scenes and noticing all the perfection with which they are acted and directed. Its not the violence or action sequences that make this movie so great (although they are well done...), but rather moments like where Mathilda knocks on Leons door. It would be so easy to just film the door opening, but instead we see light illuminating Natalie Portmans face, symbolizing something angelic. And the moment has so much more meaning.

I know a lot of people who have seen this film because they are action fans. Im not. But Im glad I finally found it, because its a wonderful film in so many other ways.

Based on the Stephen King (non-horror) novella “Rita Hayworth and theShawshank Redemption”, this is a simple story of hope made remarkable by theinteraction between the two lead characters. Both Tim Robbins and Morgan Freemando a fine job in terms of making their roles genuine and appealing, and also inthe way they work so well together. The production values throughout areoutstanding, but this is not a “fancy” film. Rather, it sticks to the story itis telling without resorting to flashy tricks to grab the audience’s attention.Although there is violence, some of it extreme, it is necessary to show the kindof place the prison is and is certainly not gratuitous.

The main theme is hope, not despair, and the violence serves only as a backdrop to that message.Unashamedly a feelgood movie, by the end one is wishing only that it wouldcontinue for a few more moments.

It’s not particularly surprising to be disappointed by any puter-animated film not bearing the Pixar logo. In fact, until Shrek, 2001’s rollicking success, I wouldn’t have even believed it could happen. What is surprising, is that Ice Age doesn’t even ATTEMPT to reach Pixar’s Toy Story heights, apparently content to revel in its status as Monster’s, Inc.s second rate, half wit cousin. Ice Age is yet another “extinction for kids” movie, one of many in a long line of baby dinosaurs, pterodactyl eggs, and sympathetic cavemen. This time, it’s the ice age, and wooly mammoths roam the earth alongside primitive man. Strangely enough, in this early world, animals can talk, and humans cannot. But when a group of would-be-enemies discover a lost human baby, wooly mammoth (Ray Romano), saber-toothed tiger (Dennis Leary), and giant sloth (John Leguizamo) must work along side each other in a journey to return the child to its home.

Visually, Ice Age is perhaps the poorest bit of CGI I have ever seen.

Contrasted to the beautiful constructs of Monsters, Inc.; or even the gooey, gloppy creativity of Shrek; Ice Age is nothing but badly rendered polygons and Acme animated characters. No hint of photo-realism here. It’s like paring a Bugs Bunny Cartoon to The Lion King. Actually, I suspect that is exactly what the folks at Ice Age were going for.

Ice Age is really little more than a collection of silly animal gags and

Leguizamo one liners. Some of them are even quite funny. If that is all that we’re going for here, then I suppose I’m all for it. But then there are these strange attempts at gut wrenching sappiness, which fall painfully flat amidst sub-video game animation. Frankly, I’m not even sure the CGI they use here is up to the task of displaying the kinds of emotions these people are trying to illicit from their characters. The humans more closely resemble totem poles than they do living, breathing, creatures. It’s laughable watching their

polygon-limited faces trying to emote in response to the story’s attempts at heartfelt, soft touches.

Thankfully, the main characters are animals, which are at least bearably rendered to slapstick fun levels. As a result, what slapstick there is, is highly entertaining. Sure, Ray Romano’s vocal talents aren’t particularly spectacular. But Dennis Leary and the always-odd John Leguizamo cover for his mammoth ineptitude without hesitation.

The story itself is bland, boring, and uninspired, as is the almost laughably bad animation. The film’s only real saving graces are some slapstick side trips into the world of an unlucky squirrel and a group of soon-to-be-extinct

melon-hoarding dodos. Ice Age’s edy is worthy of Bugs, but unless you’re under 5, you’ll be bored with everything else.

Set in the late 13th century, Braveheart is the story of one of Scotlands greatest national heroes Sir William Wallace. leader of the Scottish resistance forces during the first years of the long, ultimately successful struggle to free Scotland from English rule... Crucially charismatic in the title role, Gibson plays the heroic figure and emerges as a remarkable hero with wit and romantic soul, determined to rid his country of its English oppressors... Wallaces revolution was set in motion, with great obstacles from his countrymen... Many Scottish nobles lent him only grudging support as most of them were more concerned with wealth and titles than the freedom of the country...

There a

re many white people from all over the world lived in this hotel so the hotel is the safest place in Rwanda to hide. There are 80 UN soldiers in Rwanda but only 4 guarded in the hotel and all of them are not allowed to shot. If we say that Paul just wanted to save his wife at the beginning, after recognized that there is no one would e to help the tutsis, Paul throw himself into the breach.

Hero is a film that can impress everyone who has seen it. It narrates a funny and simple story, but leaves us a lot of thinking behind. It explains the definition of hero in a new and creative way.

The leading role Bernie Lapland was played by the famous American edian Dustin Hoffman. He is an ordinary but unfortunate person who has previous convictions, mon looking, lawsuit around and a tough ex-wife. He is even not liked by his judge who has only met his once. Sometimes, he is selfish and rude, but when facing his son, he returns to a fatherly and attentive father like everyone else. He happened to encounter a plane crash at a rainy night, and rescued 54 passengers from the burning plane out of human nature. He

grasped the chance to act as a hero, but what is dramatic is that he missed the opportunity to claim the honor. Meanwhile, a vagrant called Bobber subsequently steps forward and got the reward es with the worship from all the citizens. Lapland was still regarded as a poor man in jail, not being able to achieve any kinds of success after doing such a big favor to the passengers. While, Bobber started to show up in front of public under the glory of being a hero and set out to philanthropy. He inspired people’s goodness and confidence in life, brought hope to the hopeless and homeless, he has done what a hero should do. Finally, Bobber came to an agreement with the real hero Lapland, for not breaking people’s belief which had just set up by the man-made hero.

The whole story leads me to think of the definition of hero. What is hero? Who is a hero? How should heroes behave? Actually, hero is just an ordinary person. What makes him a hero is that he throws himself into breach when faced with danger, regardless of his own safety. Then, an ordinary man changed in to a big hero. It seems that he is so extraordinary among us, but in fact, he is just one of us. We all can be the hero if we have the chance. It is a symbol of the goodness indwells in our nature character. When we put the word hero into the background of 21st century, its eternal aureole seems to fade. We don’t need a hero to save the whole world any more, and we no longer wait for a hero to rescue our life. We live in peace and harmony, and hero walks away from our life at the same time. At the same time, when our country’s interest meets danger or some one’s life is in risks, heroes who used to be pipsqueaks will rush out and break into our eyes. The heroes who have made such great salvation can be everyone, they maybe our neighbors, our relatives, our friends or even someone we don’t know. They are different from the bygone heroes who usually appear in front of every trouble, who can be read on text books, who used to be arranged at the frontier line of any kinds of danger. Heroes now are mon people, but show up great courage and ability to bonder the responsibility to protect human lives and the peace of the world. Heroes are just the ones e our boldly when somebody else are in jeopardy.

We all have the potential to be a hero, may be the only thing we need is the right opportunity. Heroes are hidden in every corner of our society; they do their job silently and stay far from the media, they will never declare who they are and what they have done to public. But, we cannot deny that they are real heroes.

Heroes can be everywhere, can be everyone. As the memorable words of Bobber says in the film: you are able to be a hero if you want.

The crown jewel of 1995s summer blockbusters appears to have arrived early. Its hard to imagine any motion picture released between now and August matching Mel Gibsons Braveheart for spectacle. With its clashing armies, heartstopping action, and grand sense of romance, this is the sort of film its a pleasure to see and review.

Let me state my preferences up front. Im a big fan of the epic adventure, a category in which Braveheart, like cream, rises to the top. Theres a lot in this film thats praiseworthy -- not the least of which is its ambition. Those viewing this picture may be easily reminded of Gettysburg, The Last of the Mohicans, Glory, and such classics as Lawrence of Arabia, El Cid, and Spartacus. The grandeur is certainly present; nevertheless, Gibson gives us not only memorable battles, but characters of real substance.

Borrowing from masters like Sam Peckinpah and David Lean, the actor/director has crafted an exceptional cinematic tapestry in only his sophomore effort. Most of the time, three hour movies have a few flat spots, but Braveheart is constantly on the move -- riveting from start to finish. When the end credits began to roll, I was hard pressed to accept that nearly 170 minutes had elapsed.

The title character is William Wallace (Gibson), a hero of Scottish history whose legend has surely outstripped fact (in its own unique way, the film acknowledges this). Wallace fought for Scotlands freedom in the late 13th century, wielding his broadsword and influence to defeat the forces of King Edward I (Patrick McGoohan), the British monarch who had declared himself king of Scotland upon the former rulers demise.

Braveheart builds slowly to its first gritty climax. Much of the early film concentrates on Wallaces love for Murron (Catherine McCormack).Their courtship is unhurried, yet this is all preparation. The real meat of the story, which includes political mechanations, betrayal, and dramatic battles, is yet to e. Patrick Henry once said, ”Give me liberty, or give me death!“ That might well be Wallaces motto. ”Its all for nothing if you dont have freedom!“ The nobles of Scotland fight for land and riches, but Wallace stands for the individual, and earns respect with words and deeds.

Bulked up and wearing a long-haired wig, Gibson brings his usual wealth of charisma to the title role. Patrick McGoohan, best known from TVs Secret Agent Man and The Prisoner, is almost unrecognizable beneath a snowy beard. His Edward the Longshanks exudes an aura of cold menace. Hes a worthy foe for Wallace because his intelligence matches his ruthlessness. Sophie Marceau, the French actress who plays Princess Isabelle, and Catherine McCormack are both immensely appealing.

This shouldve gone straight to video. Evan Almighty was not able to manage the expectations of those who came to see it anticipating as riotous a ride as its predecessor Bruce Almighty. It retained the premise of the original as a spin-off but it doesnt work not because Steve Carell is less talented than Jim Carrey but because he had lousy material to work with. Even Morgan Freeman (who reprises his role as God) lost the zing and impressive qualities he had in the first installment.

Evan Almighty apparently targets a family audience with its decidedly more religious overtones (check out what ARK really means), so it shouldnt have attempted to fool the audience by maintaining the Almighty franchise because it doesnt fit; its brand of humor and story simply failed to keep up.

It wouldve probably done better if it were marketed differently instead of lazily riding on the success of Bruce Almighty when it painfully couldnt deliver the same punches.

Originally, the whole country was jubilant and happy. The whole land of China was full of happiness. However, we received a ”challenge“ in Wuhan. Before we were ready, it began to rage. Patients were more and more open, but the virus still didn't stop. In order to take the overall situation into account, the state had to seal Wuhan.

Virus, virus, you know, because you have lost the lives of many young doctors and destroyed many happy families! Because of you, we can't go to school and learn knowledge efficiently! You know, because how many cadres and policemen you are, you don't sleep all day and all night, and you break your heart! This life, a family, in this way, let you devour

Our teachers take risks to make ”online classes“ for us. They work hard to let us continue to learn knowledge. Let us not be affected by the epidemic.

Now, you gradually stop raging and calm down. Obviously, you have some conscience. But do you know how many people were buried with you because of your ”joke“? Tens of thousands of people all over China have died because of you. These people include hospitals, civilians, police, and even newborn babies. They have to leave as soon as they come to the world. After your reckless rage, you left these

During this period, many families can't get together. They are worried and afraid all day. They are afraid that they will be infected and their relatives will suffer from new pneumonia. We dare not breathe every day, just to wait until the epidemic situation is controlled.

New Coronavirus, we will defeat you sooner or later.

Singin’ In The Rain is a wonderful movie that not only interesting but also meaningful. And I’ve learned a lot from this movie.Firstly,I’ve learned that we should be optimistic in the face of difficulties. It is the optimism that help Tang who was in varieties of difficulties, such as ,no money ,no power, rude partner, and so on,to succeed.Secondly,I realized that goodness is an essential prerequisite for succeed,Kathy had proved this well, and wicked Lina’s trick was exposed finally, her carrer was ruined. In addition, this movie taught me that a liked-minded friend would help a lot,Tang’s friend had common interests with Tang, singing and dancing, which was vital for final happy ending. He came out a lot of brilliant ideas, which was significant for the succeed making of The Dancing Cavalier.

In a word, these talked above which I can obey in my later life and study inspired me a lot.

This is a can't-miss family movie. After all,EVERYONE seems to like inspiring family films--especially when it's based on real people. And,not surprisingly,I had a thoroughly good time watching it--though I do remend you see it with a box of Kleenex nearby。

The film is about a young man named Michael Oher--an extremely large black teenager who has bounced from home to home in the foster care system.Currently,he's in a new school and no one realizes that he has no place to live.Yet in spite of having a

crack-addicted mother,a father who was killed in prison and every

other reason to be an angry powder keg,he's a very gentle and sad soul---who is also enormous and has amazing potential to play football。

A nosy but very nice lady (Sandra Bullock) convinces her husband

(Tim McGraw) to bring Michael home. at least for the night. But this one night turns into a permanent living situation and he bees an important part of the family. However, despite this new living

arrangement working out well,Michael is so far behind in school and his GPA so low that he hasn't a prayer to play football in college. That's because although many schools are now offering

him athletic scholarships, his GPA is too low to allow him to accept these offers. So,with his new family's help, perhaps he can pull up those grades and have a future。

This film is super-inspirational and sweet--mostly because it's true.I am sure that some poetic license was taken when making the film (I especially wonder if the little brother could be THIS precocious and adorable),but overall they did a good job of sticking reasonably close the facts. While I loved Sandra Bullock's performance (she's great as usual),I was a bit surprised that she received Oscar for it--I did see a few performances in other films that year that I thought were a bit better (such as the leading young lady in Precious). Also,Tim

McGraw, while a lesser role in the film, did a surprisingly good

job--especially as he's really known as a country singer, not an actor. All around,a very good film and one that is meant to inspire。
